Hello Neighbor is a Stealth Horror Game about sneaking into your neighbor's house. What secrets does he hide?If you grew up in the suburbs and then moved to the big city when you got older, you would likely agree that, while the city might wear its crimes and dangers on its sleeve, the ‘burbs can feel altogether more sinister, since it’s hiding behind a facade of normality. I certainly had that neighbor who you rarely saw, was never very friendly, and you were sure was up to something behind the seemingly peaceful doors of their bright white and yellow house. The new video game Hello, Neighbor! looks to prey upon those small town fears and dredge up a whole lot more.
The game comes courtesy of tinyBuild, who assert that Hello, Neighbor! is their most ambitious outing yet. Your goal is to sneak into your neighbor’s house and find clues that will get you closer to finding out what he’s hiding in his basement (something nefarious, surely). Of course, you need to try not to be seen or, failing that, you need to distract him long enough to get to your objective. Because if he gets you…well, just watch the end of the trailer above.You move into a brand new suburb and notice your neighbor is hiding something in his basement.
